Originally composed and recorded by Mike Oldfield on Hergest Ridge (Virgin, 1974).

I first discovered Mike Oldfield around age 14, and have a deep love for his 70's recordings. I wanted to do something from that catalog here. This section of Hergest Ridge has a healthy balance of dramatic and playful. What did I learn? The keyboard overdubs took way more takes than I had expected, as there's quite a bit going on.
